About Us
Farm Fresh, All Natural, Locally Sourced
When you choose Kaminski Farms, you know where your meat comes from and that it is fresh and all natural. We raise our animals like you raise your kids...with pride and lots of tender loving care.
- Growing cattle spend most of their time on pasture with free-choice access to feed tailored to their growth stage. Once they have reached the finishing stage they are moved to a finishing barn, where they are fed a balanced diet of grains and forage to promote faster weight gain and a higher development of marbling, enhancing tenderness and flavor.
- Animal Welfare First: Animal welfare is our top priority. Sick or injured animals receive medical care under veterinary guidance and strict withdrawal timelines. Cattle always have access to shelter with clean, dry bedding. Finishing barns have ventilation and cooling systems to keep cattle comfortable all year long.
- Upcycling and Waste Reduction: Cattle are the ultimate upcyclers, they can take by-products of other industries and turn it into meat and milk. We use the leftovers from the distillation of ethanol as part of a balanced ration. Distillers grains: corn protein and fiber, and distillers solubles: a nutrient and vitamin rich liquid similar to molasses.
Our meat is processed at an USDA approved butcher site and returned to us frozen and packaged for your enjoyment. We raise grass fed-grain finished beef & lamb; and group-raised, milk-fed veal on our farm. We also have pork, chicken, dairy and eggs from other local farms.
And don't forget to follow us on Facebook, that's where we post most of our updates!
